Georgia Gwinnett College

Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) is a four-year public institution located in Lawrenceville, Georgia, approximately 30 miles northeast of Atlanta in the growing Gwinnett County suburb. Established in 2006 as the first four-year college founded in Georgia in more than 100 years, GGC operates on a modern 250-acre campus featuring contemporary buildings and state-of-the-art technology facilities. The college maintains an access mission with a focus on serving first-generation and traditionally underserved student populations, offering bachelor's degrees across fields including business, education, science, technology, liberal arts, and nursing. Students are required to live off-campus as GGC does not provide residential housing, though the campus includes multiple dining facilities and student life centers. The institution competes in NAIA athletics as the Grizzlies, participating primarily in baseball, softball, soccer, and tennis.
