UNF Test Policy

Test Submission Requirements

The University of North Florida requires first-time-in-college applicants to submit SAT, ACT, and/or Classic Learning Test (CLT) scores for Summer and Fall 2027 admission. You may self-report scores in the applicant portal or upload a score-report PDF for an initial decision; UNF still requires an official report from the testing organization. UNF superscores the SAT, ACT, and CLT and does not require the essay section of those exams. The ACT Science section is not required beginning with the 2025-26 cycle; UNF uses the best Reading, Writing, and Math scores unless a Science-inclusive composite is higher. Students earning a Florida A.A. by high school graduation may skip scores only on the regulation 6.005 track.
