Florida State Test Policy

Test Submission Requirements

Florida State University requires first-year applicants to submit SAT, ACT, or Classic Learning Test (CLT) scores for the 2026-27 cycle. FSU is subject to Florida Board of Governors regulation 6.002. Self-report scores on the Admissions Portal Self-reported Test Scores form; FSU does not accept Common App self-reports, and at least one score must arrive by the materials deadline, with official reports due before enrollment. FSU superscores the SAT, ACT, and CLT using the highest subsection scores across test dates, and the ACT Science section is not required. Students admitted with a high school A.A. degree under regulation 6.005 are not required to send scores.
