University of Connecticut Waterbury Campus

The University of Connecticut's Waterbury campus, one of UConn's regional locations, occupies a five-story building in downtown Waterbury, approximately 30 miles from Hartford. The campus, which opened in its current location in 2003, features modern classroom facilities and computer laboratories in an urban setting. As a commuter campus, UConn Waterbury primarily serves students from the greater Naugatuck Valley region, offering undergraduate programs in business administration, English, psychology, and general studies, along with select graduate programs in business and education. The campus maintains UConn's academic standards while providing smaller class sizes and operates in partnership with the main Storrs campus, allowing students to begin their studies in Waterbury and potentially complete them at other UConn locations.
