University of Saint Joseph, established in 1932 and situated in West Hartford, Connecticut, is a private institution with a Catholic affiliation that offers a liberal arts education to a diverse student body. Located roughly three miles from the state capital of Hartford, the university's suburban campus spans 90 acres, featuring elements of Georgian architecture. The university provides undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs, with a noted emphasis on health and science disciplines, including its flagship programs in Pharmacy and Social Work. University of Saint Joseph maintains a moderate level of application selectivity. The majority of its undergraduate students reside on campus in one of the available residence halls.
