The school would benefit from a hands-on approach instead of a "research everything and write a 30-page paper on it" approach. Also, you will not get professional certifications from this school (IT field). The professors are hit-or-miss. I've had good ones and I've had really bad ones. I've never had any trouble with my advisors and they will help with your difficult professors and financial aid. The classes are 5 and a half weeks. Week 1 - introduction DB post, topic DB post, respond to two DB posting from classmates, write a couple of pages for your individual project. Week 2 - DB post, respond to two other DB post, work on IP. Week 3 - same as week 2. Week 4 - DB post will be to let everyone read your IP and leave comments on it. respond to two other posts about their IP, work on IP. Week 5 - DB post about how much you like or dislike the class, respond to two other posts. finish IP They are super strict on deadlines. miss the turn in time by 1 day and that's minus 10% of the grade. That part I hated but also abused at times. If it was late 1 day or 3, still the same 10%, so if I knew I was going to be late, I'd take my time instead of stressing out. No job placement service it seems. No one cared about my degree when I was looking for jobs because certifications are more valued in IT. So that's your warning, get some certs on the side.

A lot of my classes were super informative, but the math ones were difficult because they don't do a good job of re-explaining concepts for people who didn't go to college right after high school. They try to build a sense of comradery with the Discussion Board posts, but really people are way too busy to participate more than required. Online is for people who have lives and can't attend regular classes, duh.

This school will cost you your credit score, as for getting a job good luck since I have had a problem since my loans and grants did not wind up covering the school tuition so they are witholding transcripts so I will never be able to move forward.
