Victor Valley College, established in 1961, is a public community college located in Victorville, California, nestled in the High Desert region of San Bernardino County and approximately 90 miles northeast of Los Angeles. The college offers a diverse range of academic programs with particular strengths in nursing, fire technology, and administration of justice, which are among the popular majors at this institution. Victor Valley College provides an inclusive, open-admissions policy, welcoming a broad spectrum of students to its range of certificates, two-year associate degrees, and transfer programs. The campus features a desert-influenced landscape architecture that harmonizes with its surrounding environment. Rather than offering traditional on-campus housing, the institution supports a commuter-based enrollment.
