Sonoma State University, established in 1960 as a member of the 23-campus California State University system, is situated approximately 50 miles north of San Francisco in Rohnert Park, California. The suburban campus spans 269 acres and features distinctive architectural elements, including a modern take on Mediterranean-style buildings. Sonoma State offers a residential experience with on-campus housing that can accommodate nearly 3,000 students.
