Simpson University, located in Redding, California, sits on a 92-acre campus in the northern Sacramento Valley, approximately 150 miles north of Sacramento. The private Christian institution, founded in 1921 as Simpson Bible Institute in Seattle, Washington, relocated to its current location in 1989 and operates within the Christian and Missionary Alliance tradition. The university offers undergraduate programs with particular emphasis in nursing, business, education, and biblical studies, while also maintaining graduate programs in counseling psychology and education.
