San Diego State University-Imperial Valley (SDSU-IV), located in Calexico, California, lies approximately 122 miles east of San Diego, near the US-Mexico border. The campus presents a smaller, more intimate setting compared to its larger counterpart in San Diego. Established in 1959, SDSU-IV serves the binational community of the Imperial Valley and has a focus on bi-national education and research to address regional needs.
