Riverside City College (RCC), founded in 1916, is a public community college located in Riverside, California, just 50 miles east of Los Angeles. It serves as a part of the Riverside Community College District and boasts a campus noted for its Spanish-style architecture. RCC offers a wide spectrum of associate degrees, certificates, and transfer programs, with nursing, business administration, and liberal arts among the most popular fields of study. Although RCC is primarily a commuter school, it provides limited on-campus housing for its diverse student body. Application to Riverside City College is open-access, with a non-competitive, rolling admissions process, aiming to accommodate a broad range of students. Despite the focus on academics, RCC also engages in intercollegiate athletics as the Tigers, with their football program having a notable presence in junior college sports.

Riverside City College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  5,014 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 14,133 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $1,380 plus fees of $40.
