Located in inland Southern California approximately 60 miles east of Los Angeles, Riverside City College (RCC) occupies an urban 108-acre campus characterized by Mission Revival architecture dating to its 1916 founding. The two-year public community college serves the greater Riverside metropolitan area and operates as part of the Riverside Community College District. RCC offers more than 100 academic programs with particular strengths in nursing, performing arts, and STEM disciplines, while maintaining an open admission policy typical of California community colleges. The campus features modern science facilities, a performing arts complex, and an aquatics center that has produced multiple Olympic athletes through its competitive swimming and water polo programs. While primarily a commuter campus, RCC provides comprehensive student services and facilities including a recently renovated student center and library.
