Studying at Musicians Institute gave me the courage to step outside of my comfort zone. I had no musical background or understanding of what it took and meant to be or become a musician. During my journey at MI in 1983, because of my drive, passion and willingness to fail and get back in the game, I was offered many artistic opportunities. When I realized I was a better ?Actor? than a musician, I accepted a role on the Number 1 daytime TV show, the Young and the Restless. From that point, my career took off and I eventually ended up on the East coast where I finally retired. Now that I?m revisiting my interest in playing an instrument, at age 70, I?m considering returning to MI. Sorta kinda... What I learned from my first experience studying at MI is, anything is possible. If you want to find your music within, Musicians Institute is the place to be.
