If you are a student, former student, faculty member or parent, please help guide other prospective students by sharing your personal experiences at this college. What is it really like to go to Irvine Valley College?
It is really good for the money and really a good place to explore your interests. It is possible to get out quick and transfer to anywhere you want. Just make sure you have the self-discipline to get your work done. The professors are invested in their students however many students end up taking three years or more to transfer. Join the honors program for the priority registration, and get registered for your classes right away. IVC is a great place but don't stay longer than you have to.

Instructors are heavily biased and pick favorites. Parking is a joke, and the majority of the lot is one-way lanes, but people will still drive on the wrong lane. Administration is useless and is closed most of the time.
