Imperial Valley College (IVC), established in 1962, is a public community college located in Imperial, California, offering associate degree and certificate programs. Situated on a suburban campus in the southeastern part of the state, IVC is approximately 30 miles north of Mexicali, Mexico, and 120 miles east of San Diego, providing students with a tranquil environment enhanced by the desert landscape. The college serves a diverse student body with a range of academic offerings, particularly known for its programs in nursing, administration of justice, and agriculture sciences which resonate with the region's prominent industries. As a non-residential college, IVC does not offer on-campus housing options.
