Chaffey College is a public community college located in Rancho Cucamonga, California, approximately 40 miles east of Los Angeles in the Inland Empire region. The main campus, situated at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains, spans 200 acres and features modern academic facilities alongside historical buildings dating back to its 1883 founding as the first community college in California. In addition to its main campus, Chaffey operates satellite locations in Fontana and Chino, serving students across San Bernardino County. The college offers more than 200 academic and career technical programs, with notable strengths in nursing, automotive technology, and aviation maintenance technology. While primarily a commuter campus, Chaffey maintains strong transfer partnerships with California State University and University of California systems.
