Cabrillo College is a public community college situated in Aptos, California, along the Monterey Bay coastline approximately 30 miles south of Silicon Valley. The main campus occupies 120 acres of hillside property offering views of the Pacific Ocean, with a secondary campus located in Watsonville. Established in 1959, the college serves Santa Cruz County through comprehensive academic and career technical education programs, with notable strengths in engineering, digital media, nursing, and marine sciences. The campus features modern learning facilities including the Crocker Theater performing arts complex and the Sesnon House, a restored Victorian mansion used by the culinary arts program. While Cabrillo operates as a non-residential campus, it maintains active student life through its participation in intercollegiate athletics, competing as the Seahawks in the Coast Conference.
