The University of Arkansas, located in Fayetteville, is a public research institution established in 1871. It is situated in the Ozark Mountains, offering students a campus environment with a blend of historic and modern architectural styles, including the iconic Old Main, a National Historic Landmark. The university is approximately a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Little Rock, the state's capital. With a broad academic portfolio, the University of Arkansas is known for strong programs in business, engineering, architecture, and agricultural and food sciences.
