Established in 1985, Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC) is a public community college located in the suburban setting of Phoenix, Arizona, offering students a comprehensive two-year higher education option. Nestled within a serene landscape, the campus is characterized by its contemporary Southwestern architecture. PVCC serves a diverse student body with a selection of academic programs highlighting liberal arts and sciences, general studies, and applied science. The institution is recognized for its strong emphasis on undergraduate education and provides a relatively non-competitive application process aimed at broad accessibility. While PVCC does not offer on-campus housing, it facilitates a network of resources to assist students in finding nearby accommodation. Academic opportunities at PVCC feature specialized programs in fields such as business, nursing, and computer technology. Not primarily known for an extensive athletic program, PVCC does participate in intercollegiate sports, engaging student-athletes in competition under the team name Pumas.
