Racial Diversity

Racial Diversity Index: 62%

Racial diversity is the chance that two students chosen at random are from different racial or ethnic groups, using the U.S. Census Bureau Diversity Index. Students at NPC are predominantly White with a significant American Indian/Alaskan population. The school has high racial diversity. 57% percent of students are minorities or people of color (BIPOC). The ethnic breakdown is detailed in the following table.

Northland Pioneer College is a Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institution (NASNTI). It is not controlled by a Native American tribe but it serves a percentage of American Indian and Alaska Native students.
