Jefferson State is extremely affordable and a great place to start college. Great teachers, class sizes aren't huge, and the atmosphere is great! I really recommend starting off at any community college, especially Jeff State mostly because of the affordability and it's a great place between high school and a university. You get all the help you need! Like I said, there are great professors and they are definitely willing to work with you! Also there's tutoring available for many classes. Whether you're just looking for a 2-year program to go ahead and start a career or looking to transfer and further your education, it's a great place!
