Bishop State Community College is a public two-year institution located in Mobile, Alabama, with its main campus situated in the heart of downtown Mobile. Founded in 1927 as the Mobile Branch of Alabama State College, the institution was renamed in 1965 to honor its first president, Dr. Sanford D. Bishop.
