Today is April 16, 2025 and our daughter is scheduled to graduate on May 10 with her sociology degree. Today she JUST received the rubric for the 10 page paper due as her final project. This is for her internship which is required for her degree. The professor for this class is also the department chair and has asked that her resignation be kept quiet...she has offered no explanation or has she tried to make amends. Our daughter has emailed at least 4 times asking for guidance. Her advisor is and has been aware of the situation? and has not stepped in to help. Our daughter has secured her own internship, made arrangements to be there consistently, while working and taking classes at RU. And until today she did not have access to the form she needs to have her internship hours logged. So NO! NO WE ARE NOT IMPRESSED or satisfied with RU and the way they have NOT helped prepare our daughter to succeed post graduation. Unless the lesson being taught there is ?do it yourself and don?t depend on the experts to hold up their end of the agreement?. Unacceptable in every way!
