Middlebury College, located in Middlebury, Vermont, is a private liberal arts institution that was established in 1800. It is known for its rigorous academic environment and its strong focus on languages and international studies, including the renowned Middlebury Language Schools and Middlebury C.V. Starr Schools Abroad. Set within the Champlain Valley with views of the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks, the campus offers a traditionally New England collegiate ambiance, with facilities housed in both historic and modern buildings.
