If you are a student, former student, faculty member or parent, please help guide other prospective students by sharing your personal experiences at this college. What is it really like to go to Utah Valley University?
I really love UVU, just because it seems like a pretty mellow school for the most part. What I mean by that, is most people come here to get a decent education at the cheapest cost, rather than going to some other more prestigious college. Pros: -Tons of young folk -Lots of Lds People -Has more students than any other Utah College -Tuition/Housing is insanely cheap compared to other colleges (in-state) -Lots of job opportunities all over Utah -Campus is huge and is growing -Most class sizes are not very big, but it depends on your major/class -The school is very professional looking -The school is less competitive, and is more focused on learning. -Offers dance classes Cons: -Too many Lds people -No football team -You won't get to take out as many student loans -Most Basic degree are offered, but there are a few that UVU doesn't offer -You won't get a job simply because you graduated from UVU, unlike an Ivy School.
