Weatherford College, located in Weatherford, Texas, approximately 30 minutes west of Fort Worth, is one of the oldest continuously operating colleges in the southwestern United States. Established in 1869, this public community college offers a variety of associate degree programs, certificates, and workforce-ready training options. Known for its nursing and allied health programs, Weatherford College serves students from a range of backgrounds, providing vocational, technical, and academic courses for direct entry into the job market or transfer to four-year institutions. Although not primarily known for athletics, the college competes in several sports as the Weatherford College Coyotes.
