Texas College is a private, historically black college located in Tyler, Texas, approximately 95 miles east of Dallas. Founded in 1894 by a group of CME ministers, the institution offers undergraduate degrees across 14 programs, with particular emphasis on the liberal arts, humanities, natural and social sciences, and education.
