Huston-Tillotson University is a private historically black university located in the heart of Austin, Texas. Established in 1875, the institution is the oldest institution of higher learning in Austin and has a long-standing affiliation with The United Methodist Church, the United Church of Christ, and the United Negro College Fund. The university's urban campus exhibits a blend of modern and historic architecture, with facilities that support on-campus living for students. Huston-Tillotson offers undergraduate degrees across various fields of study, with notable programs in Business Administration, Education, and the Natural Sciences.
