East Texas Baptist University (ETBU) is a private Christian institution located in Marshall, Texas, approximately 40 minutes west of Shreveport, Louisiana. Founded in 1912, ETBU sits on a 220-acre campus known for its historic and picturesque collegiate Georgian architecture. The university offers a variety of undergraduate degree programs with notable strengths in education, nursing, and Christian studies. While ETBU maintains a moderately selective admissions process, it emphasizes a holistic review of each applicant.
