Milligan College, officially known as Milligan University since June 2020, is a private Christian liberal arts university located in the mountains of Northeast Tennessee, near the city of Johnson City. Founded in 1866, the institution maintains a historical affiliation with the Christian Churches and Churches of Christ. The university's campus spans 235 acres, showcasing a mix of contemporary and historic architecture, with a significant proportion of students residing on campus in residence halls and apartments. Milligan University hosts a selection of undergraduate and graduate programs with notable emphasis on business, education, and healthcare-related fields. While the university maintains an inclusive admissions policy, it is moderately selective, attracting a diverse student body interested in a faith-integrated curriculum.
