The University of South Carolina-Beaufort (USCB) is a public university located in Bluffton, South Carolina, situated near the historic city of Savannah, Georgia. Established in 1959, USCB operates as one of the separate campuses in the University of South Carolina System. Emphasizing a liberal arts education, the university offers a variety of undergraduate programs with particular strengths in business administration, nursing, and hospitality management. The campus architecture blends modern and coastal-style structures, providing a visual representation of its locale's heritage. USCB's admissions are considered moderately selective, attracting a diverse undergraduate student body. While the campus accommodates students with housing options, including apartment-style residences, it also engages with the wider community through various outreach programs.
