Erskine College, located in the rural town of Due West in northwestern South Carolina, is a private Christian liberal arts institution affiliated with the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. The historic campus, established in 1839, features traditional red-brick buildings and Georgian architecture spread across 90 acres of rolling piedmont landscape. As South Carolina's oldest private college, Erskine maintains selective admission standards and offers undergraduate programs with particular strengths in business, biology, psychology, and education, while also operating a seminary program.
