For Harrisburg University, I had my ups and downs with the school, but the negatives outweighed the positives. The area around the school: There are many homeless and loiters around, which is concerning. Also, the Strawberry Square plaza isn't the best, and stores close early. Housing application process: It was tedious because you had to fill out an application to the school and fill out another to a company called PMI, which runs one of the two dorms. You also have to pay a fee of $35 for each person on the application. The Dorms: Expect annoying mandatory housing meeting emails, inspections, and issues happening in your dorms, especially with bugs. The University: The place is primarily clean except for the windows. The professors are friendly, but expect some classes to be lackluster. There isn't a cafeteria or sports outside of e-sports.

BAD SCHOOL. Social atmosphere is dead. The school does not have a dining hall. The academic quality is better at other universities. Only 30 percent of the students graduate at this school. Harrisburg University is NOT even a real university. The school was first accredited in 2009, and has been on probation for losing it accreditation right before the pandemic. The school lacks diversity: most students are from the same city, most come from low income or families expericing poverty, most were at the bottom of their high school class academically. To make the school more diverse, Harrisburg university has started an foreign student enrollment scam that allows Indian and non Us citizens from other countries to enroll in the school in exchange for a green card. Low standards needed to gain entry.

Great school with great faculty, little boring off campus. You have to take the initiative to create a club if you want one. Great opportunity to test your leadership abilities.

No sport teams, NO cafe or lunch room, NO school spirit , 1 academic building, limited majors. The school is BORING.it feels worst than high school. It's like a little prison.
