Regardless of the fact that WOU is a small university, the atmosphere and the professors are very welcoming. Some professors aren't as welcoming in the beginning, but they turn out to be once you engage with them. If you're concerned about campus safety as well, our campus is very safe! We hardly ever hear about crimes that happen around or within campus, and by the time we do, those crimes have already been resolved... My dream was to attend WOU one day, and with all honesty, I have not once regretted it.

This school needs a buyer beware sign on it - please please please, take a long hard look at this school before jumping right into it. I wish I had known more before jumping right into this school, as it has been one of the worst decisions that I have ever made for myself. The red brick buildings are charming, but if you look past that, it gets to be quite ugly. Classes are more at the high school level - no challenge what so ever. The social life is almost nonexistent, staff is unhelpful, alongside the strangest, and rudest student body I've ever been around. They treat the campus like Harvard, while it is no where close to being at such a level.
