YSU's in-state tuition is unbeatable. The price is great for a four-year university. However, it is a commuter school so there is not really a community-feel at the school. The campus itself is safe, but you cannot venture off of the campus for safety reasons. There is nothing to do in the area. Like any school, there are good professors and bad professors. I did a lot of self-teaching though during my time at the university. Overall, it is great if you live near and want to save money living at home. It is not a place to go to for the true college experience though.
