Suffolk County Community College (SCCC), located in Selden, New York, is a public two-year institution established in 1959 as part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system. Featuring a suburban campus environment in close proximity to Long Island's picturesque beaches and approximately 60 miles east of New York City, SCCC offers a range of academic programs across its three campuses?Ammerman in Selden, Eastern in Riverhead, and Michael J. Grant in Brentwood. Renowned for its Nursing and Culinary Arts programs, the college serves a diverse student body with an open admissions policy, welcoming a broad spectrum of applicants. SCCC is primarily a commuter school without on-campus housing facilities. The college's focus is on providing educational opportunities for local residents, workforce development, and continuing education.
