CUNY Bronx Community College (BCC), located in the University Heights neighborhood of the Bronx borough in New York City, is one of the eleven community colleges within the City University of New York (CUNY) system. With an open admissions policy, the college extends access to higher education to a diverse body of students. Established in 1957, BCC occupies a 45-acre tree-lined campus, featuring a notable mix of Brutalist and modern architecture, including the landmarked Hall of Fame for Great Americans. The college does not provide on-campus housing facilities but offers a commuter-friendly environment amidst a bustling urban setting. BCC is distinguished for its academic programs in nursing and radiologic technology, among others, which prepare students for in-demand healthcare roles. Serving approximately 10,000 students, the college also offers a variety of degree programs including business, criminal justice, and liberal arts. CUNY Bronx Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  3,839 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 2,876 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $4,800 plus fees of $406.
