Wellesley College, a private women's liberal arts college, is situated in the suburban town of Wellesley, Massachusetts, just west of Boston. Founded in 1870, Wellesley is renowned for its rigorous academic environment, picturesque campus with a blend of Gothic and modernist architecture, and a legacy of empowering women leaders.
