Located in Needham, Massachusetts, approximately 14 miles west of Boston, Olin College of Engineering is a private undergraduate engineering institution established in 1997 through a grant from the F.W. Olin Foundation. The suburban 75-acre campus features modern architectural facilities designed specifically for engineering education and project-based learning. Olin maintains a highly selective admissions process and operates on a distinctive curriculum that integrates engineering fundamentals with entrepreneurship, design thinking, and liberal arts. The college offers three main engineering degree programs: Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Engineering with a concentration in Computing, Design, or Robotics, with all students required to complete hands-on design projects throughout their four years.
