The school used to be very prestigious but has fallen in virtually all metrics. They have lowered their admission standards to try to make up for the roughly 40% decrease in students over the last decade and gotten rid of several departments. It?s harder to get into classes with real professors now because they have adjuncts teaching most of them. ?Merit? scholarships are given to 100% of the students so it?s not that special. It used to be great but now it?s in trouble. Also, if you are a POC, you will not feel welcome and probably get assigned to one of the bad dorms. I had a good first year but now I?m sorry I went.
