The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) is a public research university located in the vibrant urban setting of Chicago, Illinois. Established in 1965 through the consolidation of two existing colleges, UIC has grown into a significant academic institution known for its diverse academic programs, including a notable College of Engineering and esteemed College of Medicine.
