Blackburn College, nestled in the small town of Carlinville, Illinois, is a private liberal arts institution with a rich history dating back to 1837. Notably, it is one of only seven federally recognized work colleges in the United States, integrating a unique student-managed work program into its educational framework. The College's rural campus exudes a serene learning environment spread across 80 acres, situated approximately 60 miles from Springfield, the state's capital.
