Jacksonville University (JU) is a private institution established in 1934, situated northeast of downtown Jacksonville, Florida, offering a distinctive blend of urban and suburban settings. The campus, marked by its modern yet classic architectural design, spans a 250-acre waterfront area on the St. Johns River. JU provides a comprehensive selection of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral-level programs, with notable emphasis on health sciences, marine science, business, and aviation. Offering both campus housing and a variety of meal plan options, the university is designed to accommodate residential students. While Jacksonville University maintains a moderately selective admissions process, it also allows for a diverse range of applicants.
