Trinity College, established in 1823 and situated in Hartford, Connecticut, is a private liberal arts institution known for its rigorous academic environment and a picturesque campus featuring the historic Long Walk buildings, examples of Victorian Gothic architecture. Approximately two hours from both New York City and Boston, Trinity provides its student body with a blend of urban opportunities and a serene collegiate setting. Trinity maintains a selective admissions process and offers a variety of majors, with particular strengths in public policy, urban studies, and engineering. The college is residential, with a majority of students living on campus in dormitories and themed housing options throughout their undergraduate experience. While Trinity has a broad athletics program, it is recognized for its squash teams, which have consistently performed at the top of collegiate rankings.
