Los Angeles Harbor College (LAHC), established in 1949, is a two-year public community college located in Wilmington, California, within close proximity to downtown Los Angeles. The campus is situated in a suburban area, offering a range of facilities and green spaces. LAHC is part of the Los Angeles Community College District and provides a variety of academic programs, notably in the business, nursing, and liberal arts fields. The college serves a diverse student population and offers open admissions with a noncompetitive application process. While the college primarily focuses on educational and vocational programs, it does not have on-campus housing facilities. LAHC?s academic resources include programs aimed at facilitating transfers to four-year universities, especially within the University of California and California State University systems.
