Cypress College, located in the northern Orange County city of Cypress, California, operates as a public community college approximately 25 miles southeast of Los Angeles. The 110-acre suburban campus, established in 1966, features modern classroom buildings and laboratory facilities centered around a prominent pond and fountain area. The college offers more than 140 academic and career technical programs, with particularly strong offerings in automotive technology, aviation and travel careers, and mortuary science?one of only two such programs in California. While Cypress College is a non-residential campus, it serves a diverse student population from throughout the North Orange County region and competes in intercollegiate athletics as a member of the Orange Empire Conference.
