College of the Redwoods is a public community college located along the northern California coast in Eureka, with additional campuses in Del Norte and Mendocino counties. The main campus, established in 1964, sits on 270 acres of forestland surrounded by redwood trees, positioned seven miles south of Eureka's city center. The college serves California's North Coast region through comprehensive academic and career technical education programs, with notable offerings in nursing, dental assisting, forestry, and fine woodworking.
