Arizona State University (ASU), located in Tempe, Arizona, is a public research university founded in 1885 and is minutes away from the city of Phoenix. The university boasts a sprawling urban campus known for its distinctive architecture, including the bold forms of the Nelson Fine Arts Center designed by Antoine Predock. ASU combines a high-volume of academic programs with a moderately selective admission process. It has gained recognition for its business, engineering, and sustainability programs.
